I have a strong belief in concept based design. ie. style is irrelevant. A designer's task is to solve a communication problem, the solution to the problem dictates the style of the design. Shown here, we can see the design that my superiors wanted to follow, and below some underdeveloped ideas that have a central idea. Ideas ranged from a homeless guy holding a sign with "Forward Planning" on it to the walk sign at traffic lights flashing green. As you can see, style is really the only thing holding together the first two (which will be presented to the client). Sigh
